Ann has been absent for a bit due to illness in her family, but all is going well and we can expect her back with us very soon. We know you all join us in sending healing thoughts.

Welcome to The Three Muses weekly art challenge which is open to one and all. No matter what style of art you follow, there is a place here for you. We hope you will join in the fun and see the many and varied directions a theme may take at the hands of you wonderful blog artists.

Everyone who has participated in blog challenges knows of the kindness and generosity to be found there and we hope to continue that tradition here.

Our challenge will be posted each Wednesday and each theme will be revealed in the preceding week to give you time to create your pictures.

Just remember there is no such thing as "right" or "wrong" in the way a challenge is approached. We welcome every art style, and look forward to a spirited exchange of ideas and styles.
